U-POL POWER CAN Etch Primer is a professional aerosol primer designed for bare metal surfaces, helping to promote paint adhesion while providing anti-corrosive protection to prevent steel from rusting.
It is suitable for direct-to-metal application and can be used on galvanised surfaces, aluminium, SMC fibreglass, lightly abraded E-coat and prepared OEM paint surfaces.
Under normal circumstances, the Etch Primer does not require flattening before overcoating and can be directly overcoated with a topcoat. Where additional build is required, a primer filler should be applied before the topcoat.
It is particularly suitable for rub-through areas prior to painting and is supplied as a convenient 500ml aerosol for professional automotive refinishing.
